why does that feel a little like goodbye?

    More sketches.

Maybe some more tutorials on paper types (what do you use for concept work, what do you use for presentation work, etc.)

Best way to scan and then clean up hand sketches. Both, scanning for subsequentl use in digital tools, and scanning for simpy placing on web pages like the pictures that you use on this website.

How ’bout tutorials on some good practice drills for line quality or perspective, etc.

Tutorials on best marker colors to use for ID concept work (your favorites), etc.

I’m currently in the process of trying to get a summer placement for this year, and some tips on maybe putting together a portfolio would be really helpful. Even seeing all your folios would be pretty cool! :)

not sure if this is allowed, or if you guys want to talk about this in public.

I would really like to know about different stories of current designers, including.. from childhood to present..and perhaps some information about salary, and …all kinds of stuff.

    • We won’t go into details about salary and that kind of thing under any circumstances. Childhood stories are another thing – Maybe watch for it in designer interviews we’ll be having.

  5. Steve says:

How about some pen/brush settings that you guys personally use for SBP or Adobe Photoshop

  6. mike says:

Yeah, I like Steve’s request too. Some tutorials on pen and brush setting for SBP and PS. Tool Configurations.

  7. Mason says:

and i’d like to see a vid on getting use to PS and stuff, pretty though to figure out, and also that path tool..haha

More along the lines of scanned drawing, I would love a video or posting on doing that effect where you take scanned sketches into a computer but make it look like they are on pages with shadows around them with the sheets one top of another. Love that look but have had trouble doing it well.

  9. Awesome guys! we’re making a list of these. We’ll be working on getting some good stuff out soon.
