I found it terribly frustrating (politics etc) and I didn’t have a real “passion” for cars per se. More of a passion for sketching in general. Besides that, I found the long product development process of 2-5 years unappealing, and the corporate environment just wasn’t for me. So I find myself now happy with product design at a consulting firm – personally I find this more exciting and engaging. Always something new to work on every few weeks and it’s a good chance to cut my teeth with some top notch designers.

I’m glad I had my internship with GM though. It was a great experience and I learned alot. I wouldn’t trade that internship experience for anything.
