Why yes we do exist outside the website and aren’t just figments of your imagination.
John and I (Spencer) had the opportunity to visit one of the local art and design schools in San Francisco for a sit down with some first year students. Sometimes we forget what it was like being in school and the feeling of the whole experience. We love sharing our passion for sketching and had a blast working with these kids @ CCA. We’ve included some pics of the visit to CCA. See more after the jump…
The visit was helpful for us – all the students have been to the site and checked out the content, and we received some excellent feedback on how to improve. The overwhelming response or request was to get back to the basics, so we’ll be posting many more short videos, articles and tips on the basics in the near future, so be sure to keep checking the site, as well as visit our forum and become an active member. While we may not be able to visit every school out there, we can answer your questions in the forums and respond to your requests online. But if your interested in having us visit, contact us at info [at] idsketching.com (for now, only bay area requests).

Special thanks to Karson Shadley for inviting us to present.

Hey, cool to see you guys do exist in meatspace and are out there preaching the sketching gospel. Having had some especially confusing drawing classes in the beginning stages myself, I’m sure the the younger audience appreciates some good basics. Glad to see you guys are really making a positive experience and sharing knowledge.
not yet, but have your professor email info [at] idsketching [dot] com and we’ll see what we can do
How do you guys… have.. the time? Awesome.
Hey! I didn’t know you guys were in SF. I’m at the Academy of Art University. Have you guys ever stopped in for a visit?
