One Year Later, Still going strong
One year ago we shook things up on the internet with this little ditty. Yep, for you with the short term memories, that’s idsketching.com one year ago when we launched the website. it’s come a long way since then, and it’s only gotten better. When we started out with the website, we had big goals and dreams, but most importantly the goal of helping any and everyone we could free of charge. We knew how important it was to provide a free, quality resource for designers online and that’s been our goal all along.
It all started with a conversation online between myself and John about doing our own tutorials on youtube.com. We decided at the end that if we were going to do this, we’d do it “right”. We’ve learned alot since then and are still learning how to make things consistently better. (yes, there are new videos in the pipeline)
We’re excited for what’s ahead and what we’ve been able to accomplish with your help. Thank you for all your support an good will toward the site. We have roughly 40,000 visitors a month – way more than we imagined it would be a year ago. We hope it will continue to get better and better. Thank you for making the site (especially the forums) what they are today, and thank you for bearing with us and understanding that this has been a great and sometimes daunting undertaking.
