    Good start here, but I recommend finding references to practice from. You’re getting the proportions right for the most part, but the headshape needs a some work. Personally, I’ve found that sketching an egg shape helps me nail that down rather than working off an elliptical dome, especially once you start turning that head in top-down or below perspectives.

    I have observed (through my own sketches and others) that when people draw heads from memory more often than not they end up looking like yul brynner.

    Yul Brynner Syndrome. It’s catchy. :-) No seriously that is funny. I’ve made it my goal to sketch people 20 mins a day, so we’ll see where this takes me. Sketching people has always been tough.
