Hi spencer, I have a hard time rendering with photoshop. It’ll be great if you do a video to show a more complex shape like this one from pencil to photoshop. The Printer was great but something like this could be really helpful.
AWESOME Sketch! Hey Spencer, do you think you can post a vid tutorial on making a rough environment/background “painterly” sketch? Like what those movie concept artists do?
hey spencer, it’s a very nice idea that one of a sketch a day… i’m looking forfard on doing the same on my own way… haha, you know, on the cheep tools, (but nothing better than a ballpoint pen), haha, anyway, as always, you’re doing great job, it’s nice to follow the progres on the web site, I’ve been a while away, haven’t even noticed it has changed…
nice job
I liked it a lot, specially cuz l like off road vehicles, but also i always haf a lot of touble when sketching the off-road wheels =/ i do not get the right proportions or maybe a do not put them on the right place, It would be nice to see a videoo dedicated to wheels only
and I do not mean only off road, but wheels in general. Un abrazo!
Hi Spencer.
Your daily sketches are great- this site has provided me with the motivation I needed to start drawing for fun again! Thanks and keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Pete
Hi Spencer
Man, you are a inspiration:), can I ask, do you use block colours or graient when rendering in photoshop?
Thanks all! This really isn’t the best sketch/render, since I didn’t spend much time on it. I don’t really use gradients in photoshop much, but rather paint and erase instead.
@Tomas, I’m not really an environment designer, but I could give it a shot. I’ll have to play around a bit first before I attempt to do a video on something like that.
@Fher I’ll look into doing a video, but might not be till after Christmas. I have a long list of things to get done for the site
I enjoy doing quick sketches/renders than actual presentation drawings
